What a bunker survey (BQS) covers
The scope depends on the delivery and instructions. Our attendance can include initial and final tank measurement, temperature and density records, quantity calculations, witnessing of representative samples, review of bunker delivery documents and a factual report of observations.
We can also attend 221B surveys and investigate quantity disputes using the available vessel, barge and delivery records. Findings reflect the evidence and the agreed scope.
De-bunkering surveys and monitoring

Depending on the agreed scope, surveyors record tank measurements before and after transfer, witness representative sampling, monitor the operation and document the quantities and relevant transfer records.
